This lovely set of baskets has a variety of uses, for example as useful storage, log baskets or waste paper baskets.
We also sell these individually.
They have been ethically produced in Bangladesh by small community groups who make the most of what is grown locally. Kaisa grass is a sustainable crop, which when woven with split palm leaves produces beautiful high quality baskets.
Kaisa grows on the banks of rivers during the monsoon season, reaching a height of up to 3 feet when mature. Its roots are able to re-grow after the grass has been harvested and left to dry in the sun. The dried grass is then stored and used all through the year.

Cylindrical Basket Set
These baskets are fantastic,sturdy enough to keep everything from your wii and play station accessories in (and you can get alot in one believe me I use the middle one, and now I'm not yelling 'will you put these things away before I trip over them and break my bloomin' neck..) The larger one makes a great toy bin or laundry bin if your short on space and the small one is perfect for a small waste paper bin..but that's just how I use mine there are so many uses for these baskets..bet your already thinking of what you could do with a set!!
