Fair Trade Wrapping Paper, Gift Bags & Cards

This beautiful wrapping paper is handmade in Nepal by a project supporting Tibetan refugees.  It is known as lokta paper which is individually made on muslin screens, creating a high quality product with natural uncut edges.  Any patterns are later hand screen printed on to the dry paper.

A traditional repeating lotus design adorns every sheet of this unusual lokta paper.   Also popular as good quality craft paper.

Please note that the cream option is vegetable-dyed giving a deliberately mottled appearance and has a green lotus print.  Our yellow is a deep ochre colour and our beige is more of a golden brown; both of which have also been vegetable dyed to give a mottled finish.

Each sheet of paper measures 50cm x 75cm and is approximately 60 gsm.
